As per this discussion, Meter 1.4 is coming with some major changes. Are you happy with the way Meteor is shaping up? Have you ever tried Meteor? What's your experience?
I only tried it two or three times. Meteor definitely can save developers a lot of time.
I think they are on a right path to be open and keep up with the latest trends of JS community, rather than stick to their proprietary solutions such as Blaze, Atmosphere.
Since it's still going on transition, I would rather step back and wait until it reaches relative stability.

I spend some time with Meteor. It is a good trend that MDG is opening Meteor to other JS ecosystem. People have been waiting for this steps for a long time. But there is no alternative to host Meteor project besides Galaxy. At least a simple way. People may develop projects very quickly with Meteor, but at particular point it becomes too complicated to do some fine-grained stuff.
