I've been following this story that last few days, about the google employee that went on a rant about how women are biologically inferior to woman in the tech space. While I disagree with everything that he wrote, I was thinking about whether or not it was handled properly (he ended up getting fired). I truly believe that he thought what he wrote was honest and correct, and that he didn't intend to hurt anyones feelings.
I guess I'm curious on what others think, not specifically on the subject matter (but feel free to add your opinions on that as well, although I feel a majority, if not all of us would agree that it was despicable), but rather do employees have the right to voice their opinions, however unpopular, on something that they are passionate about.

first id like to say that this is my option and that im not always 100% correct.
I looked around a bit and managed to find the original 10 page memo documentcloud.org/documents/3914586-Googles-Ideol… (here for the pdf assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3914586/Google…)
and frankly i dont see anything wrong with it, while i do disagree with most of it i dont think that he should have been fired over it. and i definitely would not call it an "Anti-Diversity Manifesto". in fact in multiple places he goes out of his way to state
either way, id say read over it and draw you own conclusions :D
