I have a good idea, and roughly clear, what do I need to make it real, but there are so many unknowns... Firstly, I am a new, inexperienced front end dev, with no working experience. But I have a great idea, and I am about to make it real, sit down with my fellow students, build the app, and... Whays next? The worst scenario: nothing happens, we have a complex project as a portfolio. We didn't waste working hours, it's valuable experience.
But the aim is to make it market-ready, launch it, and monetarize. Make some money, in a shape of start up. I am affraid it's more complicated, then build the app, have a fancy design, targeted marketing. So I am curious, what do you think, what if we build something great?
monetize*.
You're basically asking nothing. This is the most vague question I've ever read. You say a bunch of stuff, and nothing is actually said - especially with no context. Having said this, I'd be up for helping you guys in your project as I've co-founded a software startup. If you wanna talk in detail, we can. I can help.

If you're building it only for the passion to build something then go ahead and waste your time otherwise, I'd strongly recommend you to validate if the same or similar solution already exists in the market. If yes, try to rethink about your idea with no strings attached to it, you might then see its worth.
Any help you need, ping me. Good luck!
