At the moment it is all just training. We get small projects to work on in breaks, so plenty to do. Get home late most days and get up early... sun is setting later now, so try to go out for a run; then come home and cook or do research or dev prep. How are you keeping? Take care
I do take 2 hours from my official work every day to do following:
Also like to mention, this is not "written on stone" rule. I do enjoy in house cricket or just chilling with frineds :D
I play in a Vagrant machine and learn Ruby, Elixir, and write some software in C, just for the sake of trying to write a safe code. :)
I figure out parts of the process that can be automated. Automation = Life made easier.
Next side project on my plate whenever I find time (I don't think it's happening in the near future, though) is to set up a script that'll set up our local development environment. The goal being, when the next hire comes in, they can just run the script and have the environment ready in seconds.
I watch Laracasts videos. @jeffreyway is a great teacher.

Since, at the place where I work, we are free to select what language to architect our next project, I prefer to learn new programming languages and technologies.
