why hashnode doesn't prefer adding sticky navigation bar unlike Quora which has sticky navigation bar when I scroll the page.

I would love to see that sticky navigation bar and side bar where I can see bookmarks and topic even when I scroll down to the page.

There might be certain reason, if you are against this notion.

Thanks for the feedback, Harsha. Hashnode has auto-disappearing header ATM. We can consider making sidebar sticky.

Yes, I have seen that auto-disappearing header after asking this question.

I prefer the old way too on desktop. On mobile it makes sense to hide to menu, but not on a 4k display.

Yes, I too would prefer old example in home page where I scroll through news feed.

For Example,

In Medium website, They have sticky navigation bar in home page rather than auto-disappearing.

Once I click and go to article page, you will see an auto-disappearing navigation bar. where user needs more space to focus on article.
