It's okay...I mean I hate it, and don't really like working with it, but it works. I didn't really have any choice in the matter. The dev that came before chose the entire stack, and when he left and I took over, I was stuck with everything.
The original dev also chose VB for the language to use on the server instead of C#. I ask myself everyday..."Why did you do this to me?"

What is windows server like these days? When I had to deal with it for several projects about 5 years ago, it was painfully slow, bloated and inefficient - at least when compared to the Linux offerings available at the time and everything required using remote desktop which was painfully slow even over local intranet compared to just firing up a console and getting the job done. At least setting up SSL on those Windows Servers was a breeze.
