Hi Marco, thanks. I appreciate your reply. However, i was not aware of Rust before.
If you don't mind can i request you to write a short article about Rust, its features and why it is the best programming language to learn?. You can write your article in this page: artofengineer.com/articles/submit
I will get your article published. Also, you can send your optional photo, your fb, linked in profile url [optional]. Will get that updated as well. Your article will be published here:

I disagree. Where is the embedded stuff? IoT is on the rise! Also, where are the modern languages, which emerged over the past years in order to improve on the old languages you list here? Where are languages, which are used by most software today? The above list looks more like something I would have recommended in 2007.
My list would look like this:
I thought about putting Q# in there, but imho, it's still too early for the general audience, since the application is very limited and we are just starting out to embrace quantum computing. I'd push learning it to 2019-2020 and see how things work out and mature, first.
I also thought about PHP, however, though it is nice to learn and use for small web projects, it does not really have any other use (in contrast to the above mentioned languages). So I might put it into the top 10, but definitely not the top 5.
By the way, VueJS, SQL and Android are no programming languages, so why did you put images of them onto your header pics? VueJS is a library, SQL is a query language (it's in the name) and Android is a Linux distribution by Google for mobile devices.
