The changes FB made to the license existed because they wanted to cover their ass over something they shouldn't have had to. That it even became an issue just shows how stupid and petty the people on all sides of this sort of 'debate' can get!
Could be worse though, could be the FSF's cult-like zealot whackjob BS like the GPL. When an alleged license about "software freedom" is larger than the founding document of most nations written in a legalese only a gaggle of top lawyers can decipher? Well... does the term "snake oil" ring any bells?
But what can one expect from a "social movement" started over the sour grapes of a guy who gave something away freely, then got his panties in a knot when someone went and did something successful with it. Oh it's a movement alright, be sure to flush when you're done with it.
