I am brand new to this site and was just exploring through the various programming languages and subject tags.
I found PHP, Javascript and MySQL, as expected, in web development and followed them immediately.
But I was surprised to not find the basic web development languages of HTML and CSS.
Am I truly in the minority of web developers who use the basic languages in addition to, or in my case instead of, the RAD Frameworks?
I think the discussions would be interesting, relevant and helpful if there were HTML and CSS or at the very least HTML5 and CSS3 language subject tags.
Am I alone?
Yes, you are the only one. The rest of us stays on drag and drop frameworks, like the good devs we are!
.... just a joke! Welcome to Hashnode! There are a ton of tags, many more than you can find on the tags page. It might be connected how Hashnode grew up, or how tags are handled in general, however all's there. you can find them by using the search bar (or going through my followed tags... haha). I recommend:
Though there are many more, especially more specialized ones, I think if you are interested in web dev and programming, the above ones will fill Hashnode with new content every day.

Your not alone, I started with HTML and CSS and that was almost ten years ago, when i returned, a lot had changed and HTML was no longer just required, its almost now a now a shopping list of what some companies are expecting, don't think we can all keep up!
