Do you feel that JS Frameworks will become antiquated within the next decade, like VBScript or script.aculo.us did (as a scripting language and a library)? How long do you think Typescript will last? Seems like a reinvention of the wheel to me.

Are there any (free) JS frameworks for visualizing data and making (at least somewhat) interactive infographics?

Ones with good demos appreciated, as they can be good for jump-starting data visualization projects with both vendors and clients who don't know the ballpark of what's possible.
